Forgive, Forget and Move on……

Yesterday I actually did something that my Maa had asked me to do for a long time now. You know I finally cleaned my study table! Yes, yes.

I know, it’s not that much big of a deal since you should clean out your study table but I didn’t get that much time actually. Most of the mess were my books that I read or started to read and then stopped. I moved the books to the shelves and sorted through the magazines for the ones to keep and give away. I also had thrown in some mementos such as cards/pictures.The bottom drawer was continuously staring at me. It definitely needs to get cleaned and organized. I started by pulling out one thing at a time. Writing pad…Okay! Paper clips….fine ! Paper scissor, Tape dispenser, Stapler, Whitener, Paper clamp, Post it pads & a bundle of A 4 Sheets …….huh! Aur kuch hai kya ??? umm …..Nothing..! It was going to be done as I wasted too much time looking for things in that drawer.

But nah wait…! What is that?? Ah, My Personal Diary, I pulled it out of drawer and looked at some pages.I was eager to share it; I expected to find some bright ideas in it, some witty observations, and a distinct view of the world. I still remembered writing stuff like that! Well, so much for those ideas, On each of its sixty pages, I just encountered that there was nothing as such which I could share with you people. Aaw! Disappointment….:-( But I was still turning the pages & then for an instant ……on page number 45 I’ve found one little conversation b/w me and my friend where she said to me– You Dumbo ! how could you forgive them so easily?? I read it for a second and after that my diary was again back to the drawer. But still somewhere subconsciously I was thinking about it & after a couple of time it was like Eureka! I got it….Yep! “Forgiveness” which I have been practicing from so many years……!! Her single question finally gave me an idea to write something on my blog & so..... I am ready to exploit you via my thoughts…..! J Lolz

Friends I don't forgive people because I'm weak, I forgive them because I'm strong enough to know that people make mistakes & What I believe that Forgiveness is not something we do for other people but we do it for own sake …Isn’t??
As we all have a past storehouse of good and bad memories; and carry an emotional baggage of stress and strain that is full of variety of hurts, resentments or anger against others who have “wronged” us.

I don’t wanna tell you much about the traumas a person undergoes after getting cheated, but we all let these unpleasant and unfair actions remain in our mind for a lifetime.
So before moving forward we should first understand what forgiveness means; it does not mean turning the other cheek (that is to permit the offense to occur again); it does not mean we should condone what was done; nor does it means that we have to trust that person again. When we forgive evil we do not excuse it, we do not tolerate it. What was wrong is still wrong…….!
But forgiveness means that we have released ourselves from the emotional bondage that the event created for us .It simply means that; we have made a decision to unshackle our mind; from the negative hold on our feelings that have been running rampant through our mind, body and spirit. It is finishing the old business that allows us to experience the present; free of contamination, it is letting go of the hurtful past, a past that our anger and judgment cannot change. At this moment, wanna engrave few lines of a quote: The value of forgiveness is only for us. Freeing form past enables us; to live more, love more and move forward with lighter load and attract more optimum future.

But it is not easy for us to forgive others. Forgiveness is a transformational process that takes some effort; especially when we feel that we have a good reason to be upset with other person. So friends take it slow, it's  not a one shot deal. Give yourself time to heal; as much time as needed. Don't dwell on the past, but look forward to the future. It's easier said than done, but it can be done.
      Forgive, Forget and Move on……!!

Anyway, I should end this long blog post. Thank you guys for reading it, if you did actually read it ;-)Lolz

Thanks & Cheers !

@Wan Mohd Hidayat Wan Abdullah - Yeah! Something very difficult to follow for many of us, but it indeed can heal most of our scars.
We should 'Forgive, Forget & Move On'.
